Scott Lang

The in character name of Ant-Man in movies is Scott Edward Harris Lang born in March 1979 who previously was a thief as he was struggling to take care of his Child as well as his wife to come for a visit and also do not have the right to meet her daughter Cassie Lang. because of the money recruitment he was convinced by Mr Pyne to be a part of the experiment Ant-Man who is a super hero with a body like Ant but with more boosted power. Under the training of Mr Pyne and his daughter Hope was trained to take the Stolen Device that had been created by Pyne and stolen by Darren Cross who was trying to sell the yellow Jacket to HYDRA and the Ten Ring. but some however cross mange to Know that they were selling the Yellow Jacket which lead to a final Fight between the Ant-Man and YellowJacket. But he was too powerful to defeat him so Ant-Man shrunk himself much more and entered inside the suit to destroy it. But this destruction led Ant-Man to enter into the Quantum Realm and also manage to escape. Due to this heroic fight Scott gets more respect in front of his daughter and his Ex-wife which help him to meet again. Later he gets to know that the Avengers need his help.

Three days before he was sentenced for his final call he got a vision of Janet in the Quantum Realm and it was him to which was connected so much. And the vision was true: he was kidnapped by hope and Bryne, who had made a Quantum Tunnel and they weren’t Ant-Man to get into it and bring out Janet from that world. But this plan does go as planned Ant-Man and Wasp meet Ghost and Sonny Butch who are behind the Quantum tunnel for their personal reasons. At last they manage to take out Janet from the Quantum realm and go back to his house to get arrested and also avoid a date extension for his court sentence.

Biography

Early Life

In college life Scott Lang had earned the master’s degree of Electrical Engineering.  He uses his Electrical Skill and steals the things from the Thief and returns it to the person from whom it was taken. In the year 2007 Scott married a woman named Maggie. But Maggie did not like his work as he stole things from criminals. Later they had a daughter and named her Cassie Lang and Scott also promised Maggie that he will leave stealing after the birth of his daughter and also promised to take a job as a electrical guard in the company Vistacorp.

After working some days lang discovered that vistacrop was taking extra charges from their customers. In the beginning he thought that it might be some coding errors which day would fix it but later he recognized that they were charging extra to get financial profit. When Geoo Zorick told him to get back all the corrections to him in anger Lang broke into vistacorp and tried to hack the software and return back all the extra money to the customers. Later that night he went into the Zorick Mansion and stole some more things from there and drove Zorick’s car into his pool. But Lang was arrested and was sentenced to prison for three years. Due to this both got divorced and later Maggie came in together with a man named Jim Paxton. One day in the prison Lang was reading a newspaper where he met with Luis, later both became best friends. Lang promises that after getting out of the prison he will leave all these things and focus on raising his daughter Cassie but the same promise he gave to his Ex-wife Two Years before.

Release From San Quentin

Lang was released from the Jail in the year July 17 2015 with his proper good conduct in the prison he reduced some of his days in the prison. To give a goodbye ritual to the prison he fought with a man named Peachy. At first Lang allowed Peachy to hit him first on his face and was also told to strike him hard in his jaw but he still stood on his feet. Then Lang started to hit him on his face and Peachy fell down on the ground and Lang left the prison with a happy face.

When the two policemen took Lang  to the gate there he was picked by his friend Luis whom he met once in the prison. They sit inside the car and ask Luis why he got a cut in his eye. In reply he said that the scar had been given by Peachy which was a farewell punch. Lang said that he was the only one in the prison who knocked down Peachy with one punch and both left the prison with their car.

Lang arrived at his home and explained how he had been fired by Dave during the introduction to which Luis asked help from hope and will tell the plan if Lang agrees with it. Then Luis explained to Lang that Kurt came out of the prison and found all the details of his prison Career. Lang then understands the intention of Luis that he wants Lang to steal again but he promises that no more stealing and will be focusing on the growing up of his daughter instead of knowing that Lusi is targeting a bIllionaire which is also a great victim but he does not agree to it.

Lang found a vault which was once made in the year 1990’s where they were discussing the movie Titanic. And to escape lang slowly created a Frozen chemical which he put into the door. And explain to his confused friend that Ice expands but metal does not and instantly within a few minutes the Ice bursts and the door opens. But if the door fell from such a place it would make a sound and make the people wake so he took a blackout to catch the flying hammer and placed a Mattress in the ground to reduce the falling sound.

Then he was taken by mister Pyne and tried to explain that Carson was planning to buy the Yellow Jacket which was made by him and was stolen from him only which might be sent to HYDRA of the ten rings. So for help Lang thought to call help from Avengers but Pyne did not agree with it as he was hiding this technology from Howard Stark for almost ten Years and now from Tony Stark who has the destructive Artificial Intelligence named as Ultron which in later time had become a threat for the world. Lang asked Pyne why he himself could not wear the suit in return he told that he cannot wear the suit anyone as he got a toll on his body. After a long discussion Lang agreed to wear the suit and steal the Yellow Jacket and in return Pyn will give him a job in his lab so that he could be paid and also help to raise his daughter.

Becoming Ant-Man

To become a good Ant man Mr Pyne started giving him training at first he was instructed to run towards the door and jump through the Tiny keyhole. After the incident with cassie in the Quantum Realm she was terrified and cried a lot. She was in fear so Long deeded to find a way to find out themselves from the Quantum World. He put a dice of pyne inside the regulator of his suit so that he could get back to his normal size and can go back to his daughter cassie. He showed gratitude to Jim Paxton for saving them both although he knew that he would be arrested.

Sought By The Avengers

After many months Jim Paxton invited Lang for dinner along with his family so that Land could spend some time with Cassie who has a dog sized ant to make his friend. He also gave her some savings which he saved for her daughter. Luis called Lang and told to come as Falcon was impressed with his skill that he showed during the Brief fight and wanted to offer him for joining as Avengers. Lang was recruited by Steve Rogers’ team and wanted him to fight from his side which was shown in the movie Captain America : Civil War.

Under House Arrest

According to the law Lang was sentenced to jail for two years along with three years of prohibition with contact with Hope as well. It was also written that if he breaks any of the three rules then he will be imprisoned for twenty years in jail. One day He was playing chess with his family when he was kidnapped by Hope and took him to a place and told him that he had been tracked by FBIs by putting a GPS tracker in his leg. Once he Pyne and Hope dream that Jannet might be Alive in the Quantum Realm so they find a connection and assures that she is present somewhere in the Quantum world. For this reason Lang was kidnapped to again go into the Quantum world and bring her back to which Lang replied that not to involve him in any of these plans because if he broke the rules this time then he would have to go back to jail for more than twenty years.

Returning To Ant-Man

Lang was forced to do this job for the last time eto save Janet from there so according to the plan he went to the Pyne lab and wore his suit sent to the Quantum tunnel up to the Quantum Realm but due to some problem both Pyne and Hope went inside with him. Inside the Realm he found Kang the Conqueror who was ruling inside the Quantum World and also wanted some out of it so that he could get back his prestige and also take revenge. Lang understands that if Kang comes to the outside world then now one can stop him. In the meantime he found Hope , Pyne and Janet and took them to the Portal and succeeded in stopping Kang from getting into the real world.

Joining The Avengers

It was the time from 2023 when he was still stuck in the Quantum Realm but Rat by mistake turned on the panel which led him to come to the world which was the time after the first fight with Thanos and the Avengers. Scott Came out of the garbage and went in search of Cassie where he found the names of all the people who disappeared after the first attack of Thanos. This was the second time when he joined the Avengers and helped to defeat Thanos. He uses the Quantum Tunnel to go back to the past and again get back the six infinity stones to stop Thons in Future. Lang succeeds to get back the stones and ultimately defeat Thanos.

Time Heist

With the idea of time travel Lang brainstormed and found out an idea of how they could time travel and go back to the past to get back the infinity stones. In the meantime Tony Stark enters and gives the complete idea of how to do that. All the Avengers suited up and went into the tunnel to get back the stone. They time travel to their past and find out the stones. After getting all the stones they again get back to their real world doing time travel.

Recognized Hero

Previously he was not much famous among the Avengers fans but after his heroic fight with Thanos in 2023 he gained more popularity among the Avengers fans. His name was taken along with Thor, Banner, Iron Man, his picture was also put up in the t-shirt, a song of his name was also named along with Steve roger. His life completely changed after the fight although he was not there during the fight of 2025 New York still he gained much population and now he is living happily with Hope and his daughter Cassie.

From the beginning of the movie Ant-man we can say that Scott Lang was a person with a humble character and always wanted just normal people because he used to steal things from thieves and return it back to his owner. From here we could say that he wants justice but in his life he did not get any justice like he had to go to jail because of stealing although the steal was for good cause. He loses his Wife because he was imprisoned. In Spite of being a thief he was a huge fan of the Avengers and his dream was to join them. One day his dream comes true when Falcon gives him an offer for joining Avengers after showing his skills during a brief fight with him.
