Sheeran made an early move toward his rescheduled Stadium concert on Saturday by joining DJ Martin Garrix at OMNIA Nightclub within Caesars Palace for their set Friday evening. The Shape of You singer made sure not to miss it!

Early in the day, Sheeran visited his former high school in Framlingham, Suffolk before attending Ipswich Town’s 3-0 victory against Hull City at Portman Road.

Sheeran dominates Martin Garrix

As Ed Sheeran’s rescheduled Allegiant Stadium show begins tonight (if reading this on Saturday), the singer has been seen out and about town. Most recently he joined Ipswich Town’s dressing room celebrations following their 3-0 Championship win against Hull City at Portman Road and pulled pints pre-match for fans there. Additionally, on his three-week break from his US stadium tour he paid Thomas Mills High in Framlingham Suffolk where he performed songs to pupils and taught classes there as well.

Martin Garrix first performed their collaboration, “Rewind, Repeat It”, with Sheeran at Ultra Music Festival 2015 and has continued playing it at his gigs ever since.

Sheeran recently impressed a Detroit audience when he welcomed Eminem on stage for two songs, starting off with an acoustic version of an 8 Mile soundtrack song before singing his own hits ‘Eyes Closed’ and ‘Shape Of You’ as Frederic Yonnet added color and soul through his small jazz ensemble.

Yonnet will perform two nights at the Blue Note Jazz Club this week as part of the Napa Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa alongside Mary J Blige, Chance the Rapper, Anderson Paak and Robert Glasper.

Sheeran takes a more active role

Sheeran made his dramatic entrance as frontman on Friday night at Foxborough. The singer is exploring a different path with this second act of his career, one which allows his stunning tenor voice to soar above a full band’s muscular sound and breathes new life into an ever-aging catalog of soft-spoken love songs which had grown dull over time – except among diehard fans of course!

Sheeran has always managed to remain grounded, remaining true to everyday people despite his status as one of pop music’s most successful artists. He never gets too flashy; tweets only half-baked thoughts; when hitting clubs for performances it is usually in casual clothing like t-shirt and cargo shorts for an unplanned karaoke show.

At his concerts, Sheeran has an uncanny ability to attract an impressive variety of talent. Last month he surprised Nashville audiences by inviting rappers Nelly and Trey Songz as surprise guests and songwriter Jeremih as special guests on his Divide tour stop there. Recently however, his guest appearances have been more subtle but no less impressive.

Sheeran’s Gillette Stadium performance set a single-show attendance record with 71,723 attendees – surpassing Taylor Swift’s previous attendance mark of 71,000 fans at her May concert. Currently on tour to promote his latest album (subtract), featuring its lead single “Eyes Closed,” Sheeran dedicated it to one of his friends who died earlier this year and expressed how this experience drove his artistic endeavors further.

Sheeran reunites with Martin Garrix

Sheeran remains humble despite his global fame, employing self-deprecating humor when the Internet mob attempts to damage his image; keeping things light-hearted helps fend off such attacks and maintain his good image.

Sheeran’s rising fame has brought about many opportunities. Not only is he one of the most beloved singer/songwriters of his generation, he’s also become an in-demand actor: appearing in Bridget Jones’s Baby (2015) as well as having regular parts on Game of Thrones and Amazon Prime Video series Modern Love.

British singer/songwriter Sam Smith is an award-winning multi-platinum recording artist who has sold more than 150 million records globally, winning numerous awards along the way and becoming one of the highest-grossing UK acts ever seen in concert.

As his career has advanced, Sheeran has begun collaborating with other musicians. For instance, in January he and a harmonica player collaborated at a nightclub performance of Nina Simone’s “Be My Husband” and Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition.”

Sheeran recently collaborated with EDM superstar Martin Garrix to produce “Rewind Repeat It”. At Ultra Music Festival in March, they performed live versions of their song that has yet to be released; Garrix noted how some may view their partnership as strange; however they loved working together and ensured both styles blended seamlessly – they plan to release it shortly!

Sheeran performs at OMNIA Nightclub

Sheeran may be in Vegas for his rescheduled Stadium concert, but that does not mean he is taking it easy. On Thursday afternoon he stopped by OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace to DJ just ahead of his Saturday night performance.

The singer took control of the booth and his hip-hop-influenced set while guests danced along. When one of his own songs called ‘Eraser’ was performed live for them to hear, everyone went wild!

Frederic Yonnet, an internationally-acclaimed harmonica maestro who has collaborated with such notables as Dave Chappelle, Mary J Blige, The Roots’ Black Thought, Anderson.Paak and Bill Withers was joined on stage for an intimate duet performance with Sheeran.

Though not from his forthcoming third album ‘Subtract,’ Sheeran and Yonnet both share an affinity for alternative rock.

Sheeran will perform his rescheduled Stadium show this Saturday at Allegiant Stadium; previously purchased tickets will remain valid.

Sheeran has also given his backing to the Music Venue Trust’s ‘Own Our Venues’ campaign that highlights the need for ownership of grassroots music venues across the UK. This campaign comes following iconic venues like North London’s Nambucca and Sheffield’s Leadmill shutting their doors due to lack of ownership and support, respectively. “I feel passionately about supporting venues like these so future generations have access to live music”, stated Sheeran.
